–That some Italian friend confirm that is Florence.

It’s the Arno river, but It isn’t Florence, it’s Pisa 🙂 It’s shooted from the “Ponte di Mezzo”, the central bridge of the city.

The pic is just a lil’ photoshopped: the white building on the left, in true colors is blue. It’s called (you guess what?) “Palazzo Blu”, and it’s like an art gallery for temporary expositions.
